		General Information about the Pack
		How can I join? Pack 115 accepts members throughout the year.  Just come to a den or pack meeting and fill out an application. When and Where are pack meeting held? Den meetings are generally held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  Pack meetings are generally held on the 4th Wednesday of the month.  Pack 115 meets in the school cafeteria of St. Bartholomew School on Erhardt Drive in Penn Hills. You do not need to be a member of St. Bartholomew Parish to join Pack 115.  Please refer back to the calendar for specific meeting times and locations. What does it cost to join? The membership fee for new Cub Scouts is $10 per calendar year.  The fee is adjusted if you join mid-year.  Pack 115 will have two fund raisers in the fall.  There is a minimum sales requirement or a "buyout donation" for each boy.  It is the only fund raiser the pack has and out of these funds the pack pays for:                           *Registration fee for adult leaders and required insurance.                           *Advancement patches, pins, and other awards for the Scouts                           *Pinewood derby kits for all active boys, as well as awards                           *The Blue and Gold banquet                           *Copies and general pack supplies                           *A portion of the summer camp costs and other activities, if possible. .                  *In addition, we will begin collecting 50 cents from each scout at each meeting. This                  will help cover den meeting expenses. What are the uniform requirements?     *Tiger Cubs need the official orange shirt and Cub Scout belt     *Cub Scouts need the official uniform blue shirt, neckerchief, slide and Cub Scout belt     *Webelos Scouts need the official khaki uniform shirt, neckerchief, slide, and Boy Scout belt     *Blue jeans or denim shorts are the uniform pant for our pack     *Council shoulder patch, Pack 115 numerals, WOSM patch, Den numeral What is a Pack? A pack is a group of Cub Scouts, adult leaders, and parents who belong to the same Cub Scout unit.  A pack generally draws its membership from an elementary school, church or community that is associated with the pack's Chartered Organization and community.  Each pack is made up of Tiger Cubs (Grade 1); Wolf (Grade 2); Bear (Grade 3); and Webelos (Grades 4 and 5).
